This time, the 2024 CANJAM exhibition is held in New York, and it is also the first time TOPPING has participated as a brand. Now, let us quickly take you into the scene of the exhibition!
The CANJAM exhibition is located in the core area of New York—on the 6th floor of the Marriott Hotel at Times Square, the Broadway Ballroom.
Although the exhibition is officially scheduled to open at 10 a.m., passionate audio enthusiasts had already formed a long queue by 9:40 a.m., looking forward to a glimpse.
In this exhibition, TOPPING brought 3 sets of desktop system configurations and one headphone, demonstrating our latest technology and products to audio enthusiasts in New York.
Leading the charge is our flagship product—the DX9 all-in-one device. The DX9 embodies the essence of TOPPING's years of technology, using the discontinued AKM chip AK4499EQ for decoding, and is equipped with a 6-channel NFCA-Discrete fully discrete headphone amplifier. The interface design is comprehensive, meeting the needs of various audio source connections.
If the DX9 represents TOPPING's technological accumulation over the past fifteen years, then our other two products—the D90 III Discrete and D900, showcase the future direction of TOPPING. Facing the chip shortage in recent years, TOPPING continues to explore a unique DAC technology route, and DSM decoding technology is one of them. Both products demonstrate performance comparable to flagship decoding chips.
The D90 III Discrete uses a positive and negative 16-element DAC for each channel, achieving high performance indicators of THD+N<0.00006% and SNR>128dB. Its appearance is similar to the D90 III SABRE, but it is designed with an observation window at the DSM module for users to directly see the internal structure. The D900 takes DSM technology to the extreme, using a positive and negative 32-element DAC for each channel, marking a new height in performance. The D900 is equipped with a PEQ function, suitable for more usage scenarios.
Also on display is the A900 flagship headphone amplifier, equipped with 6 channels, driving balanced and unbalanced outputs respectively, boasting TOPPING's strongest output power to date.
In addition, we also brought the long-awaited Hane headphones, which have 4 tuning switches, capable of adjusting to 16 different sound curves.
Many audio enthusiasts and media personnel who tried listening gave high praise to TOPPING's DSM decoder, considering it more durable and more musical than traditional chip decoders.
Moreover, other friendly brands also chose TOPPING's products for their displays, such as the well-known American headphone retailer headphones.com, which used our DX9 flagship all-in-one device.
This CANJAM New York exhibition is not only a stage for TOPPING to showcase new technologies and products but also a grand event for in-depth communication with audio enthusiasts worldwide. From the past to the future, TOPPING has always been committed to providing audio enthusiasts with the highest quality auditory experience. We look forward to bringing more surprises to everyone in the days to come.
